Ofgem is the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets. We are a non-ministerial government department and an independent National Regulatory Authority, recognised by EU Directives. The Department of Energy & Climate Change RESTATS
This web site holds statistical information on renewable energy projects from the following data collection activities undertaken by Ricardo-AEA on behalf of the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC): RESTATS, the Renewable Energy STATisticS database, contains performance statistics on all relevant renewable energy sources in the United Kingdom. REPD, the Renewable Energy Planning Database, tracks the progress of projects from inception, through planning, construction and operational phases These projects are key to assessing the success of the renewable energy technologies and progress to targets introduced in the 2009 Renewable Energy Directive.
