REH editorial starter discussion. Prepared by REH to invite genuine community replies. REH starter discussion — Scotland only. For a Scottish home, start with Home Energy Scotland rather than the England-and-Wales Boiler Upgrade Scheme. Its grant and loan offer has separate rules. The current guidance lists up to £7,500 grant support for eligible clean heating, with optional interest-free lending and further conditions. Check the full offer and application timing before instructing an installer or assuming work will be funded. Join the discussion: Are you at the initial advice stage or already comparing surveyed quotes? Suggested next step: Contact Home Energy Scotland, then obtain quotes that meet its requirements.
