REH editorial starter discussion. Prepared by REH to invite genuine community replies. REH starter discussion — UK; electrical supply and local requirements vary. Give the installer your parking arrangement, vehicle, daily mileage and where the charger would go. Ask what electrical assessment, cable route, groundworks and supply-related work are included, and whether the equipment suits your intended tariff. Compare the installed scope and ongoing requirements, not simply the price of the wall-mounted unit. Join the discussion: Do you have off-street parking, and how far is it from the electricity supply point? Suggested next step: Compare itemised home charging quotes after an electrical and parking assessment.
