Britchards install, service and repair all types of domestic and commercial plumbing, heating and mechanical services, from traditional installations through to the latest renewable energy based technologies.
The ethos behind Britchards is very much focused on providing high quality installations that fully  meet client’s requirements by providing a level of service known for its strength and dependability with a reputation for professionalism, consistency and the highest possible standards.
The owner of the business has over 28 years of experience within the trade which commenced serving a traditional apprenticeship with a long established company active in the high quality end of the market including large manor houses, country estates and private schools.
This provided good grounding and installed the strong belief that you should always take great pride in your work, a belief which is key to the success of Britchards today.With the pivotal focus on quality the business aims to remain manageable in size yet strong enough in resource to serve its clients efficiently and reliably.
The company operates from its purpose designed offices based on the Lynx West Trading Estate in Yeovil and generally aims to cover projects up to a 50 mile radius although, through our increasing  level of repeat business, we regularly work outside of this area.
We employ a highly experienced team of engineers and carry out domestic and commercial installations ranging from anything in value up to approximately £800,000.
We have the capability and experience to carry out design and build type projects as well as traditional pre-designed schemes.
Where beneficial, we also have the ability to provide a complete services package by combining our services with the electrical requirements through teaming up with a local electrical contractor with whom we have completed numerous contracts alongside.
Types of work undertaken includes all types of domestic plumbing and heating including servicing, boiler replacements and bathroom installations through to complete new residential sites, country estates, offices, schools, health centres, care homes and MOD properties.
We are also particularly active within the renewable energy sector installing air and ground source heat pumps and solar thermal hot water systems with over 100 separate systems installed in the last 2 years alone.
