Established in 1985 TH Companies has grown and diversified over the past 28 years in response to the requirements of their loyal customer ; They now offer a portfolio of electrical based services including the supply, installation and maintenance of solar panels, energy saving lighting solutions and electric vehicle charging points. A family owned and managed company Ecohill employs a team of nine full time staff, five of whom are family members.

With the exception of scaffolding services all installations and associated works are carried out by full time, permanent employees of ; Based in Colchester, Essex, the company serves the local, regional and national markets and is not restrained by geographic location.

Solar is the dominant technology for Ecohill. Ecohill has been responsible for over 130 domestic installations totalling around 455kWp of renewable energy and 35 commercial installations totalling around since they started in 2011. The smallest domestic installation generated and the largest commercial installation so far is approximately ; The majority of installations have taken place on existing properties.
The company supplies and installs energy saving lighting solutions for domestic and commercial customers; recently helping Colchester based Alstons Upholstery to reduce their lighting power consumption by 60%.  The team has just completed a training programme to enable them to start installing electric car charging points across the region.
Ecohill's biggest achivement was achieving a zero score in it's REAL audit and being nominated for the Installer Award by the REAL auditor and then going on to win the Installer of the year 2013, raking us as one of the top installers in the country.
