Thomas Armstrong is a family owned business based in Cumbria and has over 180 years’ experience in the building industry. The company has expanded to operate a renewable energy division which specialises in the design and installation of a number of technologies including solar powered heating, solar PV, biomass energy and ground source heat pumps.
Our company is based in Carlisle and the renewable energy sector of the business is supported by a larger construction division. The group employs 750 people overall and includes the services of highly skilled tradesmen and engineers. Our team can service domestic and commercial customers across the country.
Thomas Armstrong is a qualified installer registered through the MCS certification scheme. This means that the projects we work on may apply for the governments Renewable Heat Premium Payment, Feed In tariff and Renewable Heat incentive.
We hold accreditation for Gas Safe, HETAS, Real Assurance and CIBSE low carbon consultants.
